This story makes me so happy every time i tell it :)
I went to see Metric for my first time when they came to RI on Aug. 2nd 09' for WBRU's summer concert series & did an acoustic set. Joules had just became a dad so it was just Emily & Jimmy. Not many people knew any of the words to any of the songs they played, except Help, I'm Alive. She said they were going to play some older songs. I got really excited & I guess it was noticeable. Saw Metric last night at the House of Blues in Boston. I can't explain how amazing the show was! Such great energy & it was a plus that I got myself up to the third row, so i got to look right at Jimmy & Emily the whole time. It was great to see them so happy & smiling so much because they have so many people that enjoy their music. I paid $20 to see my favorite band do what they do best, which is play a kick ass show. Can't wait for the next one, which will be #3 ...

I can't wait for Nov. 20th! Metric @ the House of Blues in Boston. Saw them Aug. 2nd for the WBRU concert summer series & Emily sang 'Live It Out' to me. LOVE METRIC, been a fan for a number of years.
