I had a Metric/Frontrow dream last night. Alex was in it and Alissa was in it and of course Em and Jimmy were in it. I moved to Canada and we were discussing it on here and we discovered that Metric lived across the street from me (they all live together, apparently). So when I got to my new house, I layed in my yard in the snow with my binoculars (like a true creep) and watched their house until the garage opened and Emily was like, "I'm going to the store!" (Going to the store like she's not a goddess... OMG) and then Jimmy came out and they said something about "when we were married." And then they came over instead of going to the store like they said they were doing. They went into my house which had a recording studio and recorded a new song. And then posted it on here for us to listen. And then Alex was suddenly at my house and she had the mp3 of it and Alissa FREAKED OUT because she loved the song so much.

Joey this just made my day hahaha. There are so many parts of it I like, from the spying in the Canadian snow to having the mp3 of a new Metric song. This sounds like a lot of sleeping fun!

Hey, I'm always curious about this stuff, did you actually "see" me and Alex in your dream or you just "knew" it was us? And when I say "see" I don't mean you've actually seen exactly how we look like, just if your mind created some sort of look for us...
Damn, I wish I had more Metric dreams, I only had two so far...*pouts* I'll try to listen to them more before going to sleep.

Haha, well I actually saw Alex but Alissa you were just posting on Frontrow so I saw your icon (OMG YOU LOOK LIKE EMILY HAINES. Jealous ;] ). There were lots of capital letters and an excessive amount of !s and you were like "THIS IS THE BEST METRIC SONG EVER!!!!!!!!!!" It was kind of adorable. Please make that your reaction to the next new Metric song.
On an interesting side note, I read somewhere that there's this dreaming theory that your mind is unable to create an imaginary face so all the strangers that appear in your dreams are actually faces that you've seen before... So anyone you see, even for just a second once in your lifetime, can show up in your dreams later. (This is why I try not to associate with ugly people... ;] )
I had a dream that I got to be the fifth member of Metric, only we didn't do any Metric-y things. We went to some cafe, and the fine print on the menu said "Metric get free sandwiches," so I got a free sandwich. So my favourite part of being in Metric was the free sandwiches. It was probably the best Metric dream I've had :P

Then I REALLY wish I were on the tour bus right now, the show obviously can't go on without me :P
I think that's a crazy idea, that all the random people in your dreams are actually people you've seen before! I guess that solves our dream debate, you must never 'see' any of us in your dreams Alissa because you don't have our faces stored in your mind! I'm glad my face made an appearance in your dream though Joey...I knew Facebook had to be good for something!

Hmmmm. But does it have to be exactly the face that you've seen or you mind can create different versions of it or like mix different faces all in one? Cause I can assure you that I've never seen some of the people that appeared in my dreams (they're too good-looking for me to forget them haha).
