Story time!!!
Today's story is the story of how Joey caused a scene at work tonight.
I was at working, minding my own business, when all of a sudden GOLD GUNS GIRLS came on. Needless to say, I screamed... like a little girl. And a bunch of customers turned around and stared at me so I shouted, "THEY'RE PLAYING METRIC!!!!!!!!" And then my manager shouts, "JOEY, YOU NEED TO CALM DOWN." and so I'm like, "KIM, YOU DON'T GET HOW EPIC THIS IS!!!!!!" and she's like, "Yes, I do, but CALM DOWN."

This is an epic story! Way to make us proud Joey. I always sing along to Metric at work (regardless of whether or not there are people around me) but I haven't been told to calm down yet haha.
I DEFINITELY have a feeling Gold Guns Girls is going to be their biggest breakthrough song yet though. I thought so the first time I heard it - well before they had put it out as a single - and I maintain that it's the kind of song you can't help but love when you hear it. All these stories of it being played everywhere, much to the delight of us Metric fans (obviously)....I'm seriously just waiting for the general population to suddenly go "THIS IS INSANE!!! WHO IS THIS???" and watch Metric take off in a mainstream way. I'm not sure exactly how I feel about this, but I'm just saying I think it's going to happen.
Way to steal my story! lol.

I'm loving all these stories involving GGG, it's good to see that it's being played everywhere (well, to some extent).
I wish I heard them on the 'mainstream' radio. The closest I've gotten was a giant screen that's outside of my local movie theater playing the 'Sick Muse' video, and I only got to see the part where Emily kicks the snare.
I feel like doing what Alissa does and end with a face..... :P
