Look at that, we've reached 500 members!
I had a Metric dream last night, it was so random. Both Emily and Jimmy were at my house in it. I was doing a drawing of Emily with al this weird lighting and shadows that I set up...and then in the living room Jimmy was talking to a bunch of people about bass players. It was weird, but I was happy when I woke up.

THIS IS SOOOO WEIRD! I had a Metric dream too (well, Emily-ish, really), like two days ago! It was so off, though. I was walking on a street - the atmosphere was very much a carnival like - there were lots of people, noise, confettis... So there I was, minding my own business when I see someone lying on the ground, rolling around with laughter. A bit suspicious I come closer. Now that I stand a step away from this person I say 'Hmmm, it's Emily' as if it was the most obvious and normal thing in the world, and then I turn around and keep going my way. The end.

rofl oh man i love metric related dreams. i have them like on a regular basis.. but most of them are SOOOOO weird, it would almost be pointless trying to explain them. also the fact that i usually don't remember them unless i write them down on paper. but last night i had a dream my friend was marrying emily, but then i stopped the wedding.. that one wasn't SOO so weird. :P aha

Mine had something to do with, the band being 2 and a half hours late to their show, marching bands, murder (don't worry not Metric), old friends, and broken doors. The best part was that Jimmy was like ripped but for some reason was wearing a Christmas sweater, like a cheesy one. That dream, as weird as it may sound, was cool. Haha
Oh and Megan, that is kind of weird(but like what Alissa said, awesome weird), but if you don't think so, I have to hear what your other ones are like. :P

The strangest and clearest Metric dream I've had was one where I was at this weird concert venue where the floor was a dirt pit, but it was also in the back of a super-modern library (which I was hiding in after a nuclear explosion outside...my dreams are always like a whole bunch of unrelated stories segueing into one another). After this really weird opening band, Emily came on with an electric keyboard drying her hair (because she said she had just woken up and had a shower) and started having a conversation with the crowd. For some reason no one knew who she was and everyone was talking over her, so she said she was going back to her apartment (which was apparently like the entire backstage area) but saw that I was disappointed that she didn't play anything, so she invited me over for dinner. Then I made food in her kitchen, which was onstage, and everyone left. I just remember dream-Emily was in a bad mood until we had ice cream later on. It was very strange.
Alex, I have one thing to say to that....wtf. Hahahaha. I think you definitely take the weird dream award. Although, that kind of seemed....well....AWESOME! :P
Hahaha oh thanks Ariel. And the thing is all of my dreams are at least that strange - that was one of the more normal ones. I know I've had other Metric related ones too, I just can't remember them.
