Question of the Day: All right folks, this is the big one. What is something completely awesome that we could do for Metric as a way of saying thanks for the great record they gave us the last year, the great tours they've been doing, and well for just being Metric. I know last year on a Coldplay forum I'm part of, they sent postcards to the band. So something along those lines, something we could physically give them. We could talk to Lana and get an address to send stuff to I'm sure, but it would be nice to have something organized and a collective effort. So lets brainstorm! You guys are awesome and I'm sure we can come up with something cool.

Well, my friend and I started doing this weird thing a few years back where we send a card to the person/organization that has affected us the most in the last year - it started as a way to catch up on each other's lives and has turned into a tradition! I'm going to send one to Metric, I was just delayed as I'm trying to finish a sketch for the front of the card. Maybe send them a whole bunch of cards, telling them how they've influenced us? It's kind of like the postcard thing but if we somehow handmade the cards...I can't think of anything more creative right now.
I've been somewhat brainstorming over the past few hours as I avoid schoolwork.
Is there someway we could incorporate a theme from Stadium Love? Some sort of template we could make and each of us write a personal note/decorate it how we want?
We should all send them the Hollywood In Cambodia postcards!
But not really, I'd feel kinda bad for chopping mine into bits, even though I have two sets.
Though maybe we could do something along those lines, and each take a picture of a piece of art from around the area where we live and make postcards out of those, so they could see some of the stuff they might have missed around the world while they were going around the world :P

Maybe some sort of picture-postcard then, and send our Stadium Love on the back?
Or as a template, pick your favourite Metric lyric as a sort of header, and have the picture reflect that while still showcasing "The things they might have missed around the world while they were going around the world".

Whatever you find fitting for art! Just a picture of some scenery around where you live or anything that catches your eye.
