Whats the Metric DVD like? I've never seen anything or heard much about it. Would it be worth shelling out $20 for?

The metric DVD is so amazing! the special effects and lighting in it are really incredible to see. I would definitely spend $20 on it.
Okay cool. I find sometimes live DVDs you never know what you're going to get. Like U2 always put out excellent DVDs with nice packaging etc, but alot of band DVDs are just crap.
Are we talking about Metropolis dvd? If you are, I second Treen; it is amazing. The one and only thing I don't like about it is, they tease you at the main menu with a live 'Empty' recording, but it's not on the film. :( But otherwise it's pretty fantastic, and definitely worth the $20.
Yeah I'd say definitely go for it! I found it at a Music Trader in the traded-in section, unopened and unused, and I actually freaked out on my friend who I'm sure thought I was crazy...until he saw it and was excited too. The sound's good and it's a good performance full of their definite energy, obviously not the same as live but the closest you can get. The camera work is actually well done too - I think they worked with Deco Dawson for it and you can see it in the cinematography for sure. Yes, worth $20 dollars. In my opinion though, the live version of 'The Police and the Private' alone would almost be worth the $20!
I need this DVD! :) I loved seeing them live and wish I could relive it all the time lol.
They sound good, look good and are pumped with energy! The camara work is very well done, indeed. So, yeah, definitely worth the $20. =D
I was JUST about to watch that, haha weird. It's amazing. Get it.
Ariel<3Metric: I noticed the same thing! After I watched the video, I heard Empty playing on the menu screen and I was like "Wait, they didn't perform Empty..." which is strange because they ALWAYS perform Empty.
oh my god, definitely get it. the effects are AMAZING. and if you like those old extended dead discos emily used to do.. well, it's impossible not to like the one she does on the dvd. it's so epic. the whole concert is like an acid trip with the effects, tooo. buy it!!
also regarding Empty : They did play Empty at that concert, AND Ending Start too, but they both didn't make it on the DVD. No one really knows why, but it could be because they didn't like the performances enough to put it on the dvd, or because of something to do with the overall DVD length.
