Alright FrontRowers,

We've been TOTALLY dead lately, and I think we need some sort of Team Metric bonding project, as well as a way to express our evergrowing love for this excellent and musically talented group of people. So, I'm thinking...let's do our own "Hollywood In Cambodia"-style collaboration then send it off to the band!

(for those of you out of the loop, click on "Store" then click on the "Hollywood In Cambodia" link that's with the deluxe edition of "Fantasies" - Emily's words are better explanation than mine would be)

I don't so much have the details thought out, but I'm thinking get some sort of canvas or the like - something fairly large we can ship/mail to one another, since we're all over the place! One honoured person can start with some sort of artistic contribution...picture, words, photo, whatever!...something pertinent to what Metric is to you, then send it off to the next person who will add on, then to the next person who will add on etc. We can even take individual pictures of the 'thing' at each step of the process and send the pictures along too, to show the progress or something.

One of the thing that's so cool about Metric fans is that we're surprisingly connected - and if you're not yet, we'd like you to be! I can help organize a chain of addresses or whatever we need to get this along, then I've got a mailing address for Metric we can send the final product off to!

I'm thinking we aim to get this done by the end of December...kind of a fan's recap of Metric 2010. That gives us some time as long as we get going soon!

So...what do you guys think?
