New METRIC song! “Black Sheep” is on the Scott Pilgrim vs. The World Soundtrack

Last year our genre smashing director friend Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz) told us he was working on a new movie called "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World" starring Michael Cera and asked us if we'd be interested in working with him and legendary Radiohead produer Nigel Godrich on some music for the film. Of course, we said YES!
 
It just so happened we had the beginnings of a song that suited the projected perfectly from our early Fantasies recording sessions at Bear Creek, and that song became a pivotal track in the movie, which centers around a young group of musicians.
 
The film will be in Theatres on August 13th, and the soundtrack, including our song "Black Sheep", is now available for pre-order on iTunes (US & Canada... and soon worldwide).
