Thank you so much for joining FrontRow - METRIC's online community. With the ever-evolving way of the internet world, we wanted to create a place for our fans to get the most up to date info, announcements, special offers, messages from us and things like that. We're noticing that there are many of you from all over the globe requesting shows, keep them coming and we will do our best to make them happen. We just finished an epic Canadian tour playing amazing venues from Massey Hall (Toronto) to the Orpheum Theatre (Vancouver). Today is the first day of the US tour that we hope many of you American fans can make it to. All in all, thank you so much for all your love and support. We do this for you - we love you.

And thank YOU Metric so much for setting up FrontRow. The smaller the barrier between fans and artist, the better I say! My show request would have to be Halifax again. I know you guys were here in July, but being a festival couldn't do a full show. I know the East Coast loves you guys!

Thank you Emily, and Metric! We really do appreciate it. I love to see that you're not letting the music industry trap you in their jewel-cased CDs and put you on display like some manufactured commodity to be bought and sold. There's always been more to Metric, one of the only real artists left who are making music to be making music...not so you can sell out to a label. Thank you for letting us be a part of that bigger process, for keeping us close.
And thank you - especially after your Canadian tour and all of the other touring you're doing - for those flashes of transitory brilliance that are the live performances; anyone who has ever seen your shows knows EXACTLY what I mean. They're dripping with energy and sound and LIFE!...and we soak it all up. This just proves to us you'll keep doing what you do so well and won't leave us thirsty for too long :) Safe travels in the States!
